I am not exaggerating, but it was really one of the most delicious cherry pilaf that I ate. And well done to me😇
“Cherry pilaf” is one of the oldest Iranian dishes and has many fans especially in the summer season. It is interesting to know that one of the ancient solutions to prevent heatstroke was eating cherry pilaf on hot summer days.
Let’s go to the ingredients for two to three people👇
rice : two cups of
an onion
Cherry: Two cups
Mushroom : 200g
Slice of orange peel: 1 spoon
Sugar : 2 spoon
Cinnamon : 1/2 spoon
Turmeric : 1/2 spoon
Saffran
Salt
Walnut: 1 cups
How to prepare cherry pilaf👇
1/ Chop the onion and fry it in oil
2/ Remove the core of the cherry and add it to the onion and stir
3/Slice the mushrooms and add them to the cherries
4/ Add orange peel and walnuts
5/ After five minutes, add sugar, cinnamon, salt and turmeric and stir until the cherry juice is drawn, then turn off the flame.
6/ Boil the rice with water and salt to the right level and then drain
7/ Pour a little oil on the bottom of the pot and put it on the heat until it gets hot and then put the potatoes on the bottom of the pot
8/ Pour a layer of saffron rice and then add layers of rice and cherry mixture.
9/ Close the lid of the pot to cook on low heat
10/ Put the ready cherry rice in the dish of your choice and drink it
