Vegetarianism & veganism: Basics
First, before getting started on dairy and vegetarianism, we have to talk about the basics of vegetarianism.
You have to know that vegetarianism separates into several sections, and veganism is one of them, each of these categories has its unique way of life.
It would be best to choose carefully based on your diet plan and belief and why you are becoming a vegetarian.
For instance, we have seen vegetarians that can eat seafood but cannot consume anything else that comes from animals, or we have vegetarians that only avoid gluten.
Or we have vegans that avoid anything related to animals, whether it’s consumable or something to wear.
The choice of vegans is not to use animal products.
The main idea and reason for vegetarians and vegans are that we believe when you are hurting animals for the good of humans, you are violating the right of the animals to live.
As you may be noticed, animals feel, and they feel pain as well, and we cannot take their lives anytime that we desire.
Besides, eliminating most of the animals from the ecosystem means that over time we will damage the earth and all of its offerings, and eventually, there will be no earth to live on.
So this is the base idea behind this lifestyle; however, do not forget that eating vegan or vegetarian is more healthy and durable than any other diet, and this is a nutrition fact.
You can gain every single substance your body needs from plant-based products, and you will lack nothing.

Does vegetarian mean dairy free?
This is the question we have to answer; however, to do you, you have to remember the particular subjects that we talked about in some of our previous articles and even the beginning of this one.
As you know, standard vegetarianism means you have to avoid the meat of any kind, and you should replace it with plant-based food.
However, when it comes to eggs and dairy, many questions arise.
Why don’t we eat dairy products? Why don’t we eat milk and cheese? Why does a vegan diet mean no dairy?
Some plant-based diets include dairy products, milk and eggs, and vegetarians who follow a lacto or lacto-ovo diet consume dairy products.
So if the topic is essential vegetarianism, I can tell you that not all vegetarians are dairy free, but some are.
Vegans are a type of vegetarianism, and there are some factors to this lifestyle which is different when it comes to the products that come from animals.
Keep in mind that vegans do not use any products that come from animals. This means that you have actually to avoid any animal-produced things.
Because dairy products are animal-based, vegans do not accept them.
So we can say that being vegans means being
Why do vegans and vegetarians avoid dairy products?
To produce cow’s milk , first should to rape female cows and make them pregnant through artificial insemination. After the birth of the calf, the calf is immediately separated from the mother and the mother cow is injected with hormones to produce more milk.
But what happens to the calf that is separated from its mother?
If the calf is male, it is kept in a dark place for two weeks and then it is sent to the slaughterhouse (inactivity of the calf causes the meat to become crispy and pink).
If the calf is female, it will suffer the fate of its mother and it will be violated in the cruel dairy industry (with artificial insemination), it will be injected with hormones and it will live until it produces milk.
Research has shown that consuming milk and dairy products is very harmful to health. Cow’s milk contains hormones, animal infections, and pasteurized milk contains a large amount of antibiotics that are harmful to health and skin.
Hectares of agricultural land have been allocated for the production of animal feed to provide feed for female cows, and by stopping the dairy industry in these lands, the grains needed by millions of people can be provided, and there will be no more hungry people in the world.
However, we vegans can replace all of the dairy products with some other substances, which I intend to list below:
1. The first step to finding the vegan equivalent of dairy products is looking for the label that says” certified vegan” this means that the ingredients used in this food are all plant-based, and you have nothing to worry about.
2. Another equivalent for dairy products is:
· Coconut, soy, and Almont cheese is made from 100% vegan substances.
· Almond, oat, and soy milk would help you get every nutrient your body needs.
· Vegetable oils and peanut butter are way more delicious for your body.
· Soy, cashews, and eat ice cream are the best in the industry.
You can use these alternatives to have dairy products made exclusively for vegans.
