Walnut pilaf is one of the simplest and most delicious pilafs I want to share. This simple and tasty dish is an excellent choice for those looking for a healthy and oil-free meal. I experienced similar walnut pilaf for the first time in a Turkish restaurant; it was very tasty and attractive. The ingredients of the walnut pilaf I ate in the restaurant were different, for example, it used different dried fruits and nuts. It was a good option for me to choose walnut pilaf ingredients according to my creativity.

So I started making walnut pilaf with my recipe; I only used walnuts and aromatic spices and made this walnut pilaf very healthy; that is, I did not use any oil in walnut pilaf because walnuts have useful oil and in my opinion, It is a pity that another oil is combined with walnut oil.

Tips and tricks of walnut pilaf:

  • To fry onions without oil, just put the chopped onions in a diet pan and close the lid so the onion juice is taken with gentle heat and fried a little.
  • Be sure to roast the walnuts so that the raw taste of the walnuts is not felt
  • Use any spice you like
  • Brewed saffron gives a unique aroma to food
  • Drain the rice and put it in the pot without any oil. Don’t worry; according to the recipe, you will have amazing rice.
