Tips:
1- We can use hazelnut milk in smoothies, cakes and cookies, hot chocolate, latte, tea and coffee.
2- If you have raw hazelnuts: soak the hazelnuts in cold water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
3- If you want to make hazelnut milk with roasted hazelnuts: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the hazelnuts on the oven tray and roast for about 10 minutes. Let it soak for 20 minutes until the skin is easily removed. Then transfer the hazelnuts in a bowl and soak for at least 6 hours.
4- If you want to prepare hazelnut milk and chocolate, stir 1 and ½ cups of hazelnut milk with 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, one tablespoon of maple syrup and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy the hazelnut chocolate milk that you made at home
5- Hazelnut milk can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days – just remember to stir it before use.
