Melon seed milk was one of the most exciting plant-based milk I made at home.

I remember when I was a child, in the summer season, my grandmother would throw a melon in the pond in the middle of her yard to cool down. She would take it out and put the melon seeds in the container, and we would eat that melon with pleasure in the summer heat.
Then he would pour the melon seeds on a clean cloth or tray and let them dry in front of the sun. When the melon seeds were dry, he would salt them, and we would eat them in the evening while watching cartoons, and it was delightful.

Later, when I grew older, I sometimes did this. However, most of the time, I either composted or threw away the melon seeds. Still, when I became vegan and looked for cow’s milk alternatives and I learned about this fascinating plant milk.
