Step into the world of homemade milk recipes with the delightful Pumpkin Seed Milk! Pumpkin seed milk is one of the creamiest and most delicious dairy-free plant-based milk alternatives.
Creating homemade pumpkin seed milk is so simple and can be done in a matter of minutes. It’s a great lactose-free alternative to traditional dairy milk.
I was surprised when I discovered the seeds I usually discard could be transformed into delectable milk!
I love pumpkins. Every year I buy a pumpkin, put it in the kitchen corner, and enjoy looking at it while I cook. I didn’t know that you could make milk with pumpkin seeds. So I was curious to test the pumpkin seed milk, so I had to say goodbye to my pumpkin in the kitchen corner.
I cut the pumpkin in half with a knife, put the seeds in a blender, mixed it with a little water, and finally strained the milk. It was really good and tasted great. I didn’t think that pumpkin seed milk would be ready so quickly because the pumpkin seeds are inside the pumpkin, there is no need to soak the seeds, and it is ready very quickly.
This versatile pumpkin seed milk can be mixed with granola and eaten as breakfast. I usually mix pumpkin seed milk with some dates because it is rich in fiber, potassium, magnesium, and antioxidants. You can use any flavor and even make a cake or dessert with pumpkin seed milk.
To make pumpkin seed milk, you need 1 cup of pumpkin seeds, a blender, and 2 cups of water!
I love the thick, creamy texture of pumpkin seed milk, and it tastes great with a sprinkle of cardamom. It’s a nutritional powerhouse and a much healthier option than boxed milks.

Why I Love Pumpkin Seed Milk:

What I adore about this homemade pumpkin seed milk is its creamy texture, reminiscent of traditional nut milk but without nuts! Being lactose-free and nut-free, it’s perfect for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. As a raw vegan option, it retains all its nutrients and boasts a range of health benefits.

Speaking of health benefits

Let me tell you why I fell head over heels for pumpkin seed milk! These tiny seeds are a nutritional powerhouse with protein, magnesium, zinc, iron, and other essential minerals.

Look younger!

We all know by now that many health issues are caused by inflammation. The high antioxidants in pumpkin seeds help us counteract free radical damage and stress, promoting a youthful glow and better overall health.
The consistency. I love the thick, creamy milk that I get from pumpkin seeds.
If you struggle with sleep, pumpkin seed milk might be your new best friend! Thanks to tryptophan, the sleep hormone melatonin is produced, giving you those restful nights you’ve been dreaming of. Moreover, pumpkin seeds play a role in regulating blood sugar levels—a real bonus for anyone keeping an eye on their sugar intake.

Curious about the taste? Fear not!

You can customize your pumpkin seed milk by adding a sprinkle of cardamom or experimenting with sweeteners and flavors like dates, vanilla, dark chocolate, or fresh fruits.

Tips and tricks:

  1. If you use fresh pumpkin seeds, you don’t need to soak the pumpkin seeds because the texture of the sources is soft.
If you use dry and raw pumpkin seeds, be sure to soak the seeds in water for one to two hours.
  2. If you want the milk to not taste like pumpkin, wash the seeds well, then make milk with fresh water and use any flavoring you like. But if you like the taste of pumpkin milk, you can add water and make milk without washing the seeds.
  3. Pumpkin seed milk is quick to prepare; you can store the milk in a closed jar in the refrigerator for one to two days.

Take the pumpkin and let’s make a delicious and easy vegan milk together. Here I will tell you step-by-step how to make a glass of Pumpkin Seed Milk.
